ST. CLOUD CAPITAL ANNOUNCES INVESTMENT IN APPOSITE TECHNOLOGIES

LOS ANGELES, CA (November 16, 2016)St. Cloud Capital is pleased to announce an investment in West Los Angeles, CA-based Apposite Technologies. It is an investment out of St. Cloud’s third fund, which has committed capital of $250 million.

Founded in 2005, Apposite is a developer of wide-area network (“WAN”) testing software and equipment. Apposite’s tools test the effect of WAN bandwidth, latency, packet loss and other impairments, allowing users to evaluate performance of network-based software applications. The demand for the Company’s products is driven by the growth in networked applications as more users shift to mobile or cloud-based solutions.

St. Cloud’s investment supports the recapitalization of Apposite Technologies by Seattle, WA-based private equity firm, Ranch Creek Partners, LLC.

“We look forward to taking Apposite to the next level with St. Cloud,” said Ranch Creek Managing Partner J.D. Kritser. “They’ve shown us their ability to be creative in providing middle market financing solutions.”

St. Cloud Capital Managing Partner Ben Hom commented, “Apposite has been a leader within its technology niche for over a decade, a strong base from which Ranch Creek will execute its growth plan.” “We are excited to support the Company’s growth in the areas of product development and distribution, while maintaining superior product quality and customer service”, added Kevin Tom of St. Cloud.
